Day 12 and no starting problems on my wife’s car. That is honestly the only piece of good news I have because so much else is just shit, crap, poop.
How about you?

Work has been a pain in the ass, but other than that things have been great.

Packing up. Headed to the beach early Friday. Got 10 days off. It should be interesting to say the least.

My friends from college came up with the theory that Squidward was a guy who graduated from college with a Liberal Arts degree. I can now confirm that seeing what happened after my friends graduated from Xavier.

Be safe. Or don't. No one else here seems to be at all.

I’m sick of starting new web development projects and having the framework built for spacing and sizing be completely borked .
But one of my fave bars is opening on the weekend and it looks like we’re going. I don’t have much else going on but it’s not all bad. I’ve almost finished RDR 2

I work with a guy who got a General Studies degree. He gets very sheepish when pressed to specify his degree after proclaiming that he went to college.

Any complaints would be of the first world problems variety so I’ll count myself as lucky.

We’re literally packing in and packing out so we don’t have to go in town. But yeah I’ll send pictures.

Generally pretty good. Got two pieces of good news as work today that should lead to two things getting checked off my to-do list tomorrow, and I completed a couple of small Pajero projects this evening.

I could write a book, I started one, this year has been a roller coaster ride like no other. Lots of stuff to deal with at work, but healthy and employed. I have had more time to work on the cars and all seem to be in good shape, do there is that....

Disappointed I didn’t plan ahead and rent a ski boat while I was camping here in the lake anyway; with the holiday this weekend, they’re booked solid until Monday.
Hoping I haven’t caught the virus from all the idiots around here who aren’t taking it seriously. Hard to be super-sanitary while camping.
Overall, good. Think I’ll cut my camping short, being here for the actual holiday is going to be noisy and crowded, and bloody hot.

Doordash was most unprofitable today but I bough OIL AND FILTERS! I also ordered BRAKE PADS! EXCITING TIMES! My car needs, well, everything, so this is a start. I still have to source a drain pan and I don’t know who has one.
And I’m about to have to prove I took pictures of about 15 classic Lincoln Co ntinentals . KINJA! DOTS just got so much more involved.

Got an interview tomorrow with a recruiter in the morning. I actually like my job now and there’s still lots to do and learn , but I’ll see what they have to offer.
Other than that still taking time off... mind’s thinking about few things.

Still alive and kicking. We’re self-quarantining in preparation for a trip to my in-laws. I’m looking forward to the weekend so I can spend some time in the shop. I love my family, but we’re all getting a little stir-crazy.

Of course its not useful for a career but I would love to get a general studies degree. The thing I liked about high school is I got to learn about so many different things.

every aspect of my life has kinda crumbled around me in the past year. My only guaranteed expectation for the next year is worse (on a personal level) on top of the global news reel...b ut I’m doing OK considering. Guess the headlines offer perspective. Old enough to have been dis app ointed more than once...just not all at once!
In these times we almost want little mystery car riddles for d istraction and to pass some time!
...on a positive note. A fter years of slow business due to demand, the added service has assured I’ll have as much work as I can do so long as the sales volume supports it. Next year could be rocky but I should be alright .
Hope you are well sir.

Today I made the decision not to go to the Indy 500 for the first time in 25 years. I feel surprisingly OK about it. I expected to be really upset. Maybe that will hit me later.
